Wonderful news for us and for the whole world: Barack Obama will be the 44th President of the United States!!!!Even though Germany has been my home for almost 20 years, I'm so proud to be an American right now! I voted for Obama per mail, so I feel like I'm a part of history!

Due to scheduling problems, we unfortunately have to postpone our show in Bochum (Matrix) on September 30th, The show will now take place in February 2009. If you already have a ticket for the Bochum show, your ticket will stil be valid for the February show.
On September 15th, our album "For The Masses" was officially released in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Now our neighbors to the west can rejoice! :-)
You will find "For The Masses" at all major music stores in the Benelux, as well as all major online download stores.
Calling all iO fans in Berlin / Brandenburg: iO will be the featured guests on the "Blue Moon" radio show with Stephan Michme this coming Sunday evening on Radio Fritz. All of us will be there, and we'll be talking about lots of stuff, as well as performing a few songs live and acoustic, so be sure to tune in. It should be fun!

It's almost hard to believe, but after 2 two years of hard work, conflict and doubt, we're ready to rock the world with our debut CD, "For The Masses"!
We were beginning to wonder if we would ever be done, but through the wisdom of our producer Fabio Trentini we determined that there wasn't much more we could squeeze out of this record; it was already pretty amazing. The only "down side": all the songs we thought were the hits are now the bonus tracks! :-)
The riffs are unbelieveably fat, the bass and drums are so tight that someone will end up naming a plugin after us, And Charles is singing as if R&B never existed for him. All in all, making "For The Masses" was a great experience, and we can't wait to get feedback from you!
Everyone who's in the music business knows that it sucks. Bands give their blood sweat and tears to make masterpieces, only to be screwed by record companies over and over again. We could write a song about just how bad it is now (in fact, we did...), but instead of complain about it, iO decided to do something about it: out of a strong commitment to each other and to our growing legion of fans, ROCKER TEAM RECORDS was born (thunderous applause)!
We're taking our fate into our own hands; we have complete creative control and are financially independent (of course, donations to the war chest are always welcome :-)). How everything will go in the future, though, now depends on you: we want and need your support. Stick with us, and we will definitely stick with you!

In case you missed our TV performance in the WDR Rockpalast Underground Festival on October 28th of last year, good news: the show is being re-broadcast on Wednesday, April 30th at 00:30 and 04:45, and on Sunday, May 3rd at 05:00.
Last week we finished our first batch of gigs in the Netherlands. We performed in Hengelo, Almere and Purmerend, towns not too far from Amsterdam. In between gigs we also did some interviews for a few internet portals and magazines. We had a ball! We even had fans come from Germany to watch us play, which was very cool. We hope to release our CD in Holland soon! Special thanks to the guys from the band Dialogue for bringing us to Holland. We will return the favor soon and get you guys over here to Germany!
As you know, iO is very interested in politics, not only here in Germany, but in the US too. You can probably tell by listening to our song "Legacy" :-). Anyway, being that Charles is a US citizen and very interested in the upcoming US presidential election, he wants to know if any of iO's fans follow politics or have an opinion about who they think will win the election and why.
