06.01.10 - Important Update on iO

Hello to all iO fans worldwide!

As you can see from the activity on this website over the past year, it's clear that something must be going on with iO. You're all well aware of what happened in the summer of 2009, where Dennis, Stefan and Henning reunited with Sandra Nasic to perform as the Guano Apes at various festivals around Europe. The question is: if the Guano Apes are "back together", what will happen to iO?

The honest answer to that question is: we don't quite know yet.

We are still very much a band, and we have been actively working on brand new songs for a forthcoming iO CD. What's also true is that we are all persuing many interests, but we hope to come together soon to finish what we started. We're all very committed to rocking the known universe, and we hope that our loyal fans will support us in all that we do, regardless if we do it together or in other projects. In the end, it's all about the music!

Best wishes for 2010 and beyond,

29.04.09 - iO show in the Czech Republic

To our fans and friends in the Czech Republic and beyond,

a reminder that iO will be headlining the Carodejales Festival in Brno. We'd love to see you there!

29.04.09 - Charles Simmons Blog Online

I'd like to invite you all to check out my new blog, "Adventures In La-La Land", a journal of my experiences here Europe as an American musician. I talk about life, music, politics, and what goes on behind the scenes of my shows (including iO gigs!)

Stop by and check it out, and please leave a comment if you'd like! :-)
02.02.09 - The Story Continues...

It's been a little quiet around here lately, and for that we apologize. There's a good reason for that, though; we're currently hard at work, writing and recording new songs for you!

We think we've come up with some really good stuff, and we hope to bring it to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, PLEASE continue to spread the word about iO, and don't forget to check back here frequently for news and information.
